We booked last minute after being let down by another restaurant in Preston. I have to say I’m glad we did it is amazing from the phone call booking it to the mojitos that Alex made us at the end stunning. Food was better than any Thai we have eaten and service second to none. Just wish we lived closer than Cambridge. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in Preston or surrounding areas.
Words alone cannot describe how incredible the Pad Thai served here is, the generational story behind the recipe is inspirational and you can tell that it has undergone years upon years of testing and improving to get to where it is today. The flavours are 15/10. The portion sizes are incredibly generous! The prices are very fair and reasonable for both the service and food quality. The staff were incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The venue was warm and calm to be in. I love this place and after trying out their Pad Thai for the first time a few days ago it immediately shot up to my number 1 Thai eatery in the entire UK. This is in my opinion, the number 1 authentic Thai food restaurant in my opinion.
This place is incredible! The atmosphere is lovely, the food was insanely tasty, and staff are so friendly! I was so glad to have a vegan pad Thai (the best I’ve ever had) as I don’t find them very often!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is outstanding and obviously authentic. The portion sizes are generous to say the least. Our favourites are the spring rolls, they are homemade and a taste sensation. Alex has an amazing talent with all the wines and has recommended some real beauties to us. Ones we want to buy to have at home. Mum is cooking away in the kitchen so you wait (not too long) for your turn. When it arrives it is always piping hot. The staff is really good fun but attentive and professional. What is very telling is that they have a multitude of returning customers who have obviously been going for many years.
The food is so tasty and beautifully cooked, and the staff are brilliant too, best meal out I have had in ages, loved it and will be back soon, tempura broccoli melts in your mouth thank you Barrie
My first time at Thai orchid this evening and it was fantastic! The staff were amazing. Friendly , knowledgeable and helpful . The food was absolutely delicious! Fresh and tasty. And the bill was also a pleasant surprise, it would be value for money at twice the price!! We will certainly be returning , and then returning again and again

What a lovely authentic Thai restaurant in Preston! Every waitress and waiter was friendly and charming. They have many selections of startes, stir fry, Thai curry, noodles etc and if you can't decide, they have 8 kinds of banquet too! I liked all their food with big portion. The atmosphere is nice with Thai decorations. Highly recommend!
